St. Thomas is happy to welcome you to our Christian Formation program! Christian Formation is a vital part of the life of our church and we love having children involved in all church activities.
Our Sunday School has three aged-based programs. All three start at 10:00 AM and conclude before we celebrate Eucharist, so that the children can celebrate with the church. All three in the Godly Play curriculum (a Montessori based model of learning).
Nursery (Ages 0-5): The nursery program is run in the room behind the main church, next to our chapel. This is a drop-in program and all children under the age of five are welcome. Please note that parents are responsible for taking their children to the bathroom and changing diapers. If there is a potty emergency during service, we will come get you, but please have your child use the facilities before church if possible.
School Age Classrooms (Class one: ages 5-9 and Class two: ages 9-12): Please drop off your child at 10:00 AM in the Parish Hall. Note that the teachers will walk them back over to church before Communion.
Other Activities include:
Fall into Fall-Fest Fair (Children’s activities on Saturday and Halloween Trunk or Treat on Sunday)
Youth and Family Sundays (The last Sunday of each month)
All volunteers are CORI checked and have undergone Safe Church training.
Please make every effort to have your child attend weekly, so they don’t miss the fun!
If your child has any food allergies or other accommodations needed, please let us know.
The Search Committee must create and post a Parish Profile to begin receiving applications for our next rector. In order to do this, we need you to respond to this survey. Surveys will also be available before, during, and after the services at the back of the chapel/main church. We will be emailing an electronic version if you prefer to submit responses via the computer. All responses must be returned by 6/24. We appreciate your feedback and prompt response. Thank you, in advance!
